My name is Katie Fraser and I am a Work Experience Co-ordinator.  My job is to help young disabled people find work experience and I also organize the Summer Job Forum which enables young disabled people aged 16 to 25 to “understand the reality of work by using creative media”, where I invite visitors to speak about their experiences of work ,and answer questions from the young disabled people , then chair a creative media session where the young disabled people use theatre , art and craft , singing and dancing to convey their understanding of the reality of work. I have a real interest in passion in disability arts myself which we have had visitors who I network with , namely Mik Scarlet and Mat Fraser who have supported us greatly.
