Herts PASS Experience: Questions and Suggestions

At Hertfordshire PASS we believe one of the most important resources disabled people have is their experience of disability, including the creative and innovative ways in which they overcome the barriers they face. Therefore this ‘Questions & Suggestions’ section is an opportunity for disabled people to share their experiences of barriers they face, so allowing others to share their experiences of how they have overcome them.

This ‘Questions & Suggestions’ section is however not a substitute for the formal ‘Information, Advice, or Guidance’ you might receive from recognized sources ( – such as Adult Care Services, the NHS, Citizens Advice etc), rather we hope it compliments it.

However whilst we will try hard to ensure the ‘suggestions’ made are reliable, Hertfordshire PASS cannot endorse or recommend them. Should you action a ‘suggestion’ made available on our website and it goes wrong, please don’t blame Hertfordshire PASS, rather, please post your experience back in this section so that other people can learn from your experience. Thank you.

Given Hertfordshire PASS aims to be a ‘user-driven charity using employment and self-directed support to enable disabled people to live independently’ we want the Questions and Suggestions to focus only on the following areas:

• Employment
• Being an employer, and
• User-led services by disabled people.
